How well does the 16' tarp work with a bridge hammock like the WBRR

Thanks! Real world experiences help a lot.

Her Kelty Noah, 12 foot, got two coats of silicone spray outside and one inside and was seam sealed.
That may be my next step. First wanted to see how it fared without doing anything.

It's a 16 foot tarp; where can it miss? I use it to put two gathered ends under and there's TONS of room to spare. I usually hang it with the ridgeline at about 7 feet high, and it still goes very wide and touches the ground, in winter-like-mode. It's not really a question about if this tarp can work for a certain hammock, but if this tarp fits your needs. It's big and heavy, but if you can fit it and weight's not an issue, this tarp fits any bill. It's a BEAST!

Any gear does better when it is properly cared for and prepped. I set aside two weekends a year, minimum, one in the spring and one in the fall, to prep gear and pull maintenance. I do it "as needed" throughout the year. Anything meant to keep me dry gets silicone sealed except goretex. That gets treated with its own special treatment.

Ewker, The 12x12 would work really well with the RR, nice winter coverage, but keep in mind that it's still a car camping tarp , alittle too heavey for hiking.

I have the 12 footer and it is much larger when spread out than one would expect. The distance from tip to tip is just over 17' in the diamond shape. I use it as a "hang out" area in case of bad weather when camping.

I use 2 broom handles (doubling as hiking poles) to elevate the side panels. You can easily fit 4 people under there in camping chairs with room left over for equipment.

The quality of this tarp particularly for its cost is very high.

I just checked the WildernessLogics Bullfrog and the weight on a 12'x10' is 22 oz, the Warbonnet Cloudburst is 11'x10' and weighs 18 oz, the JRB 12′ x 10′ (actually 9'x8") Universal Tarp weighs 24 oz.

The Kelty 12'x 12' weighs 32 oz. yes it is heavier by 10 oz but it is also a larger tarp.

    decisions decisions..lol

    I have the Noah 12.

I will only attest to it's performance as a tarp.
It has done everything that I have needed in a tarp. It covers my WBRR well. Stops rain, wind, and sun. Is well constructed, with plenty of set-up options.
If weight is your main deciding factor, it won't make the cut, but is an excellent and affordable starter tarp.
Might have to upgrade if I shift more to the backpack, but for now my canoe doesn't care what my tarp weighs.

You didn't mention WL'S Oldmanwinter, i just picked up a used one a month or so back and have not a chance to really test it but it looks very well made and the reviews on it that i have read here are all very positive.
