Just thought I'd share here.
This is my first machine, and I don't even know how to sew yet.
I got this Singer 301 made in 1951 back when Harry S Truman was President off of a nice older lady from Craigslist for $50 including the table and some accessories.
She said it needed the tension adjusted.
I thought I would give it a shot.
Does anyone have any experience with these things as far as maintenance or anything?
Parts, lube, tools or anything.
I gave it the once over, it WORKS & appears to be all original.
This baby weighs in at 16 pounds of METAL!
