Ahhh....now some of you have me wanting to try out the cinch buckles or bugs. It may be a little more weight, but it looks simpler.

Because we have such a great night's sleep, our brains are overflowing with thoughts and idea's and we need to play with the gear and tweak this and move that and what if's...and such.
My favorite is ADutchable Clip on a 6' strap -> 6' Amsteel lead -> Dutch Speed Hook -> 6" Amsteel Continuous Loop -> hammock.
Tarp suspension: Dutch Hook -> 25' Lash-it Continuous RL -> Dutch Fleaz. Tarp connected with Nightize #1 S-biner and Zing-it Constrictor line.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
I have three favorites...
Whoopie hook complete suspension with 4 foot kevlar huggers and sew on Dutch Clips-This is my favorite because it is so light and simple. I like how I can remove the suspension if it is wet. To me this is a must for hiking so I don't get sap or water on my hammock. I like it is a water break for piece of mind.
Cinch Bugs-I like this one when weight isn't an issue. It is removable so I don't have to pack it with my hammock. It can be an all webbing suspension or it can be an adjustable hugger and work with a whoopie sling. It can be permanently attached and used with a spliced on continuous loop (that is what that hole is for). it can be used at the apex of a bridge hammock and make putting on a sock a breeze. this one wins "Best in show" for versatility.
Lastly the new thing I am working on that will be out in two weeks.
Peace Dutch

I've switched to cinch bugs and really like them. They've allowed me to hang in places that the whoopies were too long for and have great adjustability and ease of use.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
I was looking for cinch bugs last night. I can only find them with 15' camo straps for almost $40. Is this so? And is this because of the earlier post saying that this is the best strap. Don't they fit the Kevlar straps?
I thought I'd save some money buying the 25' camo straps and cut them but then I couldn't find the cinch bugs! Is there something wrong with this idea?
I don't think cinch bugs work with Kevlar at this point.
