    First pitch

I still have to add the pullouts on the side, but I just couldn't wait to take a look. I made mistakes, and they show, but I learned a lot and had fun.uploadfromtaptalk1442322462257.jpg Biggest lesson.... tip your tarp manufacturer, whatever they charge, it isn't enough!

It's not survival gear, it's just a bunch of work

Looks great man. Nice job. But that was one of the toughest posts I ever had to read on this board.

Sorry about that, I would blame the phone but the fault belongs on the user.

I really want to make my own tarp, but it seems like you can buy a fairly nice one for the same price. Talk me into it!

No Way! I don't want anyone blaming me! In all honesty buying silnylon 2nd's (which look really nice) and everything I needed I have around $60 in the tarp. So it's cheaper, but it's much more work that you think going into it.

I did it because I like making my own gear and I wanted to customize it (extra tie outs, grosegrain edging, etc). I will make another one, but not in the near future.

I meant talk me into making one lol. I've got a thread injector and have been looking to make some more stuff.
