Lake George,ny question

I may have an opportunity to camp on an island at Lake George later this month. Are hammocks ok , any restrictions? And I'm assuming that there will be suitable trees for hanging a hammock. I'm not sure which island yet, I know there's several. I'm looking forward to this trip!

As far as I know there are not any restrictions. Raiff and I hammock end at lake George the beginning of August. While we were kicked out because we needed reservations and we didn't know it. The ranger complained about not being able to hang the hammocks
