Calm night, just wanted to keep the dew off us. Oops, where did that Smirnoff picture come from? Georgia State Park! Good company and a good hangs!

    October hang:
My boys and I went to a nearby county camp ground (Willow Park). We made dutch oven peach cobbler, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We hung hammocks but the boys slept in a tent since we don't have underquilts for them...yet.
You can see my rig in the back. It was a cold night. I styed relatively warm. Gotta work on my underquilt setup some more. All around it was a fun, memorable and enjoyable time.
I'm also planning to attend the first ever "Utah Frozen Butt Hang" in January. I'm sure I can find a reason to sleep in my hammock sometime in November and December.
Edit: I can't get my picture to attach from my phone. I will try it from my computer tomorrow.

    Later skater!!

October has been busy but I finally managed to get my October hang in. Used my new DIY 12' PolyD hammock in the turtle dog stand. It's barely long enough and tall enough for a 12' hammock but it was a comfortable night. I was a little warm as the overnight low was only 43° with no wind and I had planned for colder weather since my morning run yesterday saw 32° temperatures.

I've heard of them many times in the past but never really paid any attention. I know I know.....

After spending the last couple of min looking into them I see I've been missing something great.
