Month 23 down! Three days in the Dolly Sods Wilderness area. My first time there and it was brutal and beautiful! Well, brutal for me!

Made #23 a couple weeks ago. A week at scout camp.
Will have #24 this weekend and maybe a couple more in August.

It was very hot in the high desert and not many trees. Had to improvise with a DYI Stand for one set up.

And one more for July. No need to get up early that last day, slept super well even if not very diagonally. New tally:

I finally started my 12 nights. Had a nice over nighter in Purtis SP, Tx last month. This month was in Fairfield SP, Tx. Got to use my new UGQ hanger 12 (just plain awesome!)

I'm super excited to attempt this, I hope my schedule allows me to do so.
Where the trail ends the adventure begins!

#8 while downeast visiting my dad in Owl's Head. He's got a great little copse of trees that was perfect for us to sleep out in our hammocks! Plus we got to find our land in South Bristol that my parents bought in 1973! Great hanging trees but lots of clearing and cleaning up. The last picture is the remains of the kitchen platform with cabinets on the land.
