12 nights a year

I think I had 12 nights over the last 15 days. Just made plans to take my daughter out next weekend for her first hammock trip.

Diz and I made it to Mohican State Park for my 43 month. We hit Site 7, one we never visited before and had a quiet nite under cloudless skies and temps in the low 20s. Coyotes and a deer nosing around camp kept me up at times, but the sky was gorgeous!

Beautiful area. Helped a couple buddies run the 100 mile trail race they hold there a few years ago.

#43 this last week. Had a great trip to the tall pines. One of my favorite spots.


29°F with a light snow during the night.


The snow is still deep 4-5 ft deep but may not last much longer.

It is the WBRR. On this trip I was using a HG Incubator 0°.
I was actually too hot at one point and had to vent.

January and February this year. Both in the back yard. Need to get out more when work permits. Over night low in January was 22, my PR. Feb was 31 with some light rain.

It's a great way to test your rig in all different situations! And for me, a solid incentive to keep getting out!.

Here's month #12 for a couple friends and I. We also had a few of the grandsons tag along for the night. In total, there was seven of us hanging.
