We joke about bringing our cat out in the hammock, but he's an indoor cat and I'm sure he would curl right up, but I could see it ending in disaster!

Currently on 2 outings in april and 2 in may.
April: DD Frontline, camping close to a main road on a motorcycle trip
May: Dutchware chameleon, first night out. Still need to find the appropriate way to sleep in it
May: Dutchware Chameleon, 2nd night out. Camping with a friend from the army, he borrowed the Frontline.
June... who knoiws?
I'v now been out 4 times this month! It's nice to get out and not feel like you HAVE to get out to get your one night in, like in January and February. Once early in the month just because it was a nice night, once with the whole family out back, and last night and the night before to avoid making the bed while my wife was out of town!
Although now that I have worked out my setup, soon to change to a WBXLC and XL Wooki of course, I will be more comfortable heading out winter of 2017/18 away from home. Just having acquired my setup at Christmas, I was figuring things out come January 2017 when we got our tarps. So I have 5 down now and the rest should be a piece of cake!

Two nights in June - 8th month since I started in the hammock. Loving every minute of it (apologies to Loverboy)! I recorded a high of 93.4*F and low of 70.0*F with 100% humidity in north-central Florida and an uncomfortable biting fly season. Some of you camp at the cold extremes...I'm having to deal with the hot end of the spectrum with July & August to look forward to

Summer showers.
I know what you mean we've been dodging thunderstorms here in Texas. Its 70° and muggy tonite.
Work has kept me from doing once a month but I'm hanging tonite staking out our hay fields for hog control. Hennessey is keeping me bug free while napping and waiting on them to make an appearance so I can run them off!

Got my sixth month in early out back although we are going to be hanging "on the trail" more this month. Last month I slept out 8 nights. This month hopefully more and more away from the back yard hang spot. That is coming along nicely though. Just buried a giant boulder yesterday and will be spreading wood chips from sapling cuttings this week to cover the dirt.
Slept in the XLC Saturday night. UQ was fleece and nylon quilt I sewed gathered ends to. It doesn't work too great yet though as there are too many gaps and vents too easily. I think it needs a knotty mod or something.
