My wake up view, sunrise past the turtle-dog stand. You can see the nasty condensation and it rolling into my hammock from the stand shaking. I have since learned that I used the wrong line for my guy lines on this one and the wind caused my tarp to flap horribly.

    Looking out at the fog.

    More fog.

It was cold and foggy, but just a beautiful weekend and a great sunrise.

I'm hoping to get out again in November to CTSR again. December might be a challenge for me though. I've not used a hammock yet in those temps. I hope my TQ is up to the challenge.

Got my november in. Still way too warm outside to call this testing my gear, with temperatures never going below 40°F.

Got my October and November in with a couple overnights and a group hang. This thread has been a great motivator. Batting 100% for hang time. Thought I'd mix up my post with selfies...

I got my Season 2, Month 2 hang completed in October at the Hammock Forum Raven's Cliff Halloween Hang.

There was a nice Rhododendron tunnel heading down to our camping area.

I set up my hammock on the bank of the creek.

We had a nice campsite. We hung out, ate good food, and drank a few barley pops.

Another excellent nights in the woods.

Season 2, Month 3 was completed this past weekend at Blalock Lake, south of Atlanta.

We caught a few bass, went skeet shooting, and cruised around in golf carts. Not exactly roughing it.

I set my buddy up in my WBBB XLC for his first hammock camping experience. He said the next morning it was the first time his back didn't hurt from camping. I think I may have converted him. He now wants to buy an XLC for his son for Christmas but will throw in an extra for himself.

Between my son, my friend, his son and myself, we had four hangers right on the edge of the lake.

No hammock pictures, unfortunately, but I do have these.

It doesn't get much more beautiful than that. Another awesome night in the woods.

The rest of the year is kinda packed out, but I may have to make this the new years resolution.

I head out tomorrow for the Central Texas Fall hang, hoping to add at least 4 nights of hanging this weekend, and another 8 nights this year.
Any day in the Bush is better than a day at work!
