    Didn't think of it until you said it, but this hang was my first double porch hang also. 3 years of hanging and the tarp was usually furled or in full protection mode. In this heat and humidity, that breeze in the shade was was heavenly!

    Well I seem to be keeping up with the challenge since joining this forum this past April. Had a family reunion up in the mountains this past weekend so I went up a day early and camp out in the woods. I didn't even mind the rain all that much it let up just long enough to cook my Breakfast before starting up again.

    Some health issues have kept me from backpacking so a backyard hang to get June in, the good news is my backyard is the AT so, yea


    went with my first hammock setup (still love this setup) HH Explorer zip, hex fly, supershelter and a woobie on a rainy 55F night. Happy times happy times and that's 21


    Woke up to the sound of rain in the trees and on the tarp around 1am and went from man I love that sound to oh crap my backpack is out there
    got up and hung it from my suspension and it was nice and dry in the morning ;-)

    If we got those ridgeline phone holder doodads we could watch movies out there too when it's raining! Like right now... Glad we have good tarps so everything will be dry when we head out to bed later!
