I got June and July done
June I did my first hang using my JRB Shenandoah as an UQ instead of a TQ, woke up chilly a few times

July I had the quilt dialed in, hell of a thunderstorm the other night ended up using my 5x7 mest as a door as I couldn't break the way I wanted and still be close to the kids, worked out great, the way I had it trapped moisture between the tarps but I stayed dry

this is me airing them out before packing up

    the kids

and a shot of the bushcraft camp :-)

For June (5 days) and July (3 days) I went up to the family property.

In June we built a new shower.

No matter how many times I try to tell the young guys how to hang, they won't listen but they are having fun so that is what counts. There were at least 12 hammocks hanging this weekend. It was a good weekend!

We had a great week on the mountain. Temps we in the high 90's and a low of 48°.
This makes 11 for 11 and well on the way to 20+ nights out. We had about 10 hanging this time.

Back yard hang. First full night in a hammock. July 4-5 Homer Alaska, warm (Low 53 F) with intermittent light rain. Fireworks and firearms woke me up a few times but otherwise pretty comfy.

Yeah. I've done a fair amount of winter camping in Alaska but just starting out with hammocks. We'll see how it goes. Luckily Homer is close to the ocean so has relatively mild conditions compared to Interior or Northern Alaska. Recent winters have been particularly mild. I'll try to post updates. It's been interesting to me to follow all of the varying conditions that people report at different areas throughout the states.

Staying at Jarvis Bay out at Sylvan Lake in Alberta Canada tonight. Had to come down to repair the wife's tent trailer, and couldn't resist the temptation to hang out.
First picture is view from the campsite, second is view from the road. I love how it blends.

Having a great time at Scout Camp this summer. Getting in the July hang for 8 straight months now.IMG_20160706_142448518.jpg

Night was cool, around 8°c with heavy rain and thunderstorms. Success as my SF kept me dry, and my UQ from Little Shop of Hammocks kept me snug.
Need to do a little tweaking on my ridgeline as I couldn't attain a flat lay. My back and neck are a little worse for wear this morning.
