Just stumbled onto this...nice idea.
August in Northern NM, watching Persia meteor shower over the Rio Grande Gorge.
September here in OK, for the blood moon.
Oct/Nov, many nights in deer camp.
Small hangs scheduled with friends in Dec and Jan.
For those that are put off by summer's heat, try a park with water and electric. No, not really camping, but being able to stay wet and run fans makes all the difference.

December hang at Raven Cliff Falls with HF member event.
Here's my Decemeber hang. One night camp near Long Island Lake in Northwestern Ontario. -13C steady through the day and night with light snow.

Just a quick local hang for December. Was hoping to do the Ohio group hang, but with Christmas almost here and poor planning, I had to settle for this. Temps down to 24°F with winds to 10MPH.

No kidding. I bought a 0degree burrow for this winter season. Tomorrows forecast is 63 degrees.
