I got put early this month for #36. It was a fun trip with some small boat sailing on Saturday. Officially 3 years of fun. Unofficially this was #42 straight as I started before the thread started.

Hope it was a GOOD change! BTW, if you ever have the urge to get out mid week, I'm often available. Less folks on the trial make for a good hang!

I would love to. I am now the Interim Pastor at a Church in Coshocton which is why weekends are full. I still live in Canal Winchester but 1/2 the week is spent in Coshocton. I'd love to find a time Mid-Week to hang. Let me get my feet on the ground here. Let's look at mid to last September.

Congrats on your new position! Our church is between pastors and restructuring to regain stability. I just became a deacon Sunday! Not doing anything new really, still just taking care of the building stuff is all. And I play drums on the worship team, so I get that weekends busy thing! I don't get to church and the rhythm section goes haywire! Lol!!

Three Years in and this has been the best challenge I ever accepted! Got out this week for a lone hike into a spot at a state park. No rain called for so I left the tarp on the pack and enjoyed the close to full moon! Looking forward to the next 36 months!

Great weather, but the deadfall was a bit wet. A little sawing and batoning and I had a good fire going.

#36 and August 2018 is in the books. North Country Trail section hike from Marquette to Munising. Brutal hike, but 4 nights out in the woods trumps working! And the detour to Lankenland was worth it. So was the chorizo taco at the end of the trail in Munising!

#37 was a wet one! Between the wind (17mph) and downpour it was a struggle to keep my Tadpole in a good location. Luckily, it only needed minor adjustments due to shifting winds. After the rain passed, it was a pretty pleasant eveing. Had a couple of deer wander through the site in the morning. Seemed clueless that I was even there!
