    Thoughts on DIY underquilt

I am planning my first UQ project. I know I want a full-length UQ, I know the material and colors and basic design. But, I am thinking I want to run shock cord down the sides so I can attach them to the hooks on the sides of my hammock, to prevent sliding. My wife thinks I can put the hooks on the UQ, and just hook it to the hem of my hammock. What do you think? Thanks.

How about hooks on the quilt and rings on the body so it stays in ave better? There are hammocks that use this system. It could even be fabric attachment on the body of the hammock

Not certain what fabric attachments you mean. Just loops of fabric, like a grosgrain strip?

I would just use grosgrain for that, kind of like door tie-backs on a tent. It needs something on the hammock to tie to, of course. A loop and toggle would be another tried and true solution. KAM snaps would be fun if you already have a KAM snapper tool.
