For the work/time/money you've already got invested, I'd try removing your ridgline and corner pulls and adding a slight cat cut to all the edges. Even though polyester doesn't stretch quite like nylon, I've found that any large panel will be tougher to get taught without them. I imagine you won't be out anything but a little more time, seeing that if you don't do anything, you'll probably just replace it and never use it again. You've got most of the hard work done...layout, cutting, seam sealing the ridgeline, etc.

I'm afraid that might be above my pay grade back when I sewed the thing I opted for the silpoly because it was being said you didn't need cat cuts. My skill level: cutting and sewing straights lines =yes....anything else = no. haha
