I'm leaving for Mohican now, just a few last minute stops buy I should be there by 3:00. I'll post available site when I can. See you all there.

Due to some leaking propane lines I'm not going to make it out tonight. May not make it out this weekend.
Hopefully there will be another hang soon. I can't make the November hang as it falls on retail hell weekend and I will be at work.
Nice to finally meet some forms members face to face, Hobopelican & Diz. Too bad I couldn't stay. Thanks for showing me your setups. See you guys again, I hope
I hope to make it tomorrow came home and took a "Sleep" instead of getting my gear together. Still tired so off to finish that important task.
I made it to the hang Friday, but had to head back Saturday. Diz gave us the heads up that site 10 was the place to be and I made it there about 5PM. It was my first time in Mohican and site ten was great, although a little further walk than 9. Waterboy stopped by a bit later (bearing some tasty gifts!) to chat and checkout out rigs. Gfranxman and his son showed up after dark to round out the first nights complement.
This was my coldest hang yet, dropping to 31F over night. I get cold very easily and was a bit worried, but my rig kept me nice and toasty, except for my persistent CBS,
I really enjoyed finally meeting a few of members and checking out their rigs and toys.

Hello All,
I made it up to the campground about 12 to 12:30 pm Saturday. I met Diz, he was the only person in camp at the time. But sinceI do not have any insulation (top or under quilts). I was able to see Dizs setup. And I was able to ask some question. Diz was kind enough to share some of his Hamock experiance and knowlege with me. I will be coming out again in November, I dont know if I will have my quilts by then but I will certianly come out to see some other setups at least.
Thank you for your help Diz. I appreciate the heads up about the campsite change and all the advice.
Alaskan Hanger
Well, the four of us that made it out overnight, Hobo Pelican, Gfranxman, his son and I, had a great weekend, cold but dry with some beautiful fall colors. Thanks to Waterboy and Alaskan hanger for stopping by to meet, peek and greet, it was nice meeting you guys. I am planning to be back out again in November and hopping we can get a bigger group then. Either way I’ll be hanging happily in the woods glad not to be one of those sad flat napper’s stuck inside. Come on you all you Ohio Hangers get out and get "Above Ground Ohio"(shout out to Brother Jeffry). If an 11 year old can hang for two nights in below freezing, what holding you back? See you all November 27-29 at Mohican!
