Anyone here using or familiar with the Pfaff Expression 2034? Mine is skipping stitches all of a sudden and I was hoping someone here may have had to troubleshoot these before.
Anyone here using or familiar with the Pfaff Expression 2034? Mine is skipping stitches all of a sudden and I was hoping someone here may have had to troubleshoot these before.
I'm not familiar with that particular machine but the problem is probably not machine specific.
If the problem started after putting in a new needle, check to make sure it is installed in the right direction and fully seated.
If the problem started after putting on a new spool of thread or bobbin, re-thread the upper and lower thread carefully following the manual.
If the problem started after you had a needle strike, replace the needle and check the needle plate and bobbin hook for damage and smooth out any burrs.
If the problem started out of no where (or after you had a tangled mess), thoroughly clean the bobbin and feed dog areas. All it takes is a small piece of thread or lint in the wrong place to interfere with stitch formation. Use a flashlight and be thorough.
