    I definitely woke with a smile. I was thinking the same about the slope of the hammock. I guess I will tweak as I go until I get it just perfect. I will never go back to ground unless, well, there are no trees. Lol

    You might wanna lower your tarp for better coverage when the weather gets bad.

    With regards to the ridge line, I favor a higher mounting point as well, my ridge line is 108" (130" hammock length x 0.83), yet my actual ridge line is 118".

    Form follows function. The image looks great!

    As was mentioned, if the weather starts to turn nasty, and the wind gusts up with driving rain, you will want to hunker down.
