hammock setup.jpg Not really sure if I did this right, but if I did this is a pic of my new complete setup. I would like tips on what I did wrong or if its right....give me your praise. Lol

The bigger question...is it comfy? If it's comfy, it's right. But if it makes you feel better, it looks good! Your tarp might be a bit tighter though.

????? Shouldn't the SRL be at the ends of the hammock not halfway up the suspension?????
My only critique is ridge line placement. It seems you have it attached mid-whoopie. I think most of us attach ours down at the end of the hammock.
But if that's the way you like it and it works, that's okay too. There are no "rules" here.

Btw I like how you did bright colors mixed with muted colors. I do the same thing.

You guys are helping so much!! Thanks!! I think that I am going to try a little more slope to get the ridge line out of my face.
If the hammock has the right "slope" in the suspension, the ridgeline cord won't fall in your face. It should not be so tight as to sound like a bass guitar string - maybe just loose enough to bend up about 90 degrees with one hand. I didn't see a bug net, but maybe you don't have them in that location. Some people like the foot end of the hammock to be a little bit (six inches) higher than the head end to minimize sliding down to the middle of the hammock.
But bottom line, did you wake up with a smile on your face and does your body now shudder when you even think about going back to ground?
