“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." Henry David Thoreau
Had the wife snap one quick... Here it is with 1l smart water. It will pack smaller. This is its storage case.

Do you typically carry it yourself or do you put it in your dog's pack?
He is a 50lb lab with it all packed in one of the saddle bags. The other bag has her pad and fleece blanket. I carry the poles. uploadfromtaptalk1447893794403.jpg

I haven't seen it mentioned here, but I found a site called campingdog.com which doesn't load well in firefox but loaded fine in chrome. it appears to be links to products on amazon, but it looks like it's a nicely organized way of searching for stuff without knowing the exact name to search for.
"What are we going to do tonight Brain"?
"The same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world". -Pinky and the Brain
+1 for the Ruffwear coat.
At the moment, I hang only about 8" off the ground, and bring my tarp (with doors) all the way to the ground. My 70lb Pit sleeps in a little bed partially underneath me and it keeps us both a little warmer!
Also, having an enclosed space seems to relax him when it gets dark, but I'm still hanging out by the fire.
