Does anyone make metal line locks

I now have plastic line locks on my tarp ridge lines same as I use on guy lines, I'm a little concerned as to how well they'll hold up on the ridgeline when cinched down hard in a storm, anyone know if metal line locks exist? Thanks.

doubt it. But if durability is your concern, why not use a prusik instead of any hardware?

I'm pretty sure they exist for sailing, but are pretty pricey.

See dutch for metal ridgeline hardware, I love the simplicity of his ti bits. I'm a stingerz guy.

These are great for guylines, I wouldn't suggest them for ridgelines, but I use prussics and may switch to dutch stuff for my guys.

I have some Dutch hardware on one tarp but it takes too long to adjust, line locks are quick and simple. I'll put a plug in here for his titanium cinch buckles, they're not cheap but really nice at 19 grams/pair.

I'd prefer not to be tying knots in the dark or in a torrential downpour.

That's funny, I read it and thought what connection could there possibly be with a line lock...

manbehindtheplan showed me the coolest prusik option on his tarp last week. always ready to go and lets him adjust stuff from inside the tarp. I will ask him to post pics.

You can leave the prusik attached on your ridgeline if you have a Dutch hook spliced to one end of your line. Then just adjust your prusik as needed by pulling the free end of the line. Super easy, secure and lightweight. Titanium lineloks would be really cool, though.
