Threading your cinch buckle, over or under?

How do you thread your strap?uploadfromtaptalk1440384617778.jpgOver the sliderbar or under? And do you think there is an advantage either way?

My technique is as shown in the second (larger) photo. I believe this is the only config recommended
Give a man enough ripstop and he'll hang himself.

Sorry about the pictures! So if your strap is coming from the tree, do you slide the slider all the way forward, thread the strap down from the top, slide bar back then, thread tag end back through buckle.
By doing this , the tag end is under the strap.
If you thread the other way, the tag end is on top.

Thanks Usadave! I thought I had heard that but would like to know why is it recommended that way? I have threaded from the top and bottom with equal success but would like to understand the why threading from the the top is recommended.

    Thank you!!
