8' Tree straps, continuous loop on hammock end, becket hitch.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same

I've gone back to whoopie slings just for the weight savings, but if you want simple, there is nothing easier than a strap/cinch buckle suspension.

I think I have tried everything. My favorite so far is Kevlar tree straps with adutchable clips and whoopie slings with whoopie hooks. So easy, lightweight and easy

Tree straps with carabiners attached to homemade whoopie slings. The carabiners are pretty heavy, but I don't mind

Started with whoopies. Moved to continuous loop and marlin spike to webbing.. now I've found my hang.. lazy sloth hammock, continuous loop, titanium cinch buckle, 8 ft webbings. Just adding a ridgeline soon.

Suspensions are fun to experiment with. It's good to know how to use several of them. I hung 6 hammocks for my daughter and her friends the other night and I think I used 5 different methods just for fun.

This what I do as well; everything is attacked, nothing for me to leave behind.

I could use Dutchware instead of carabiners (to save weight) but the carabiners can serve double duty when needed.

My Fav: DutchwareGear Whoopie Hook Suspension with 5ft Huggers.

Light, plenty long, strong, easy to adjust.

And I also use a Dutchware adjustable ridgeline with titanium biners.

I was expecting to add a little weight when I switched from UCR's to webbing and Dutch titanium cinch buckles but actually saved .5 oz...and it's much simpler and faster, hammock and suspension weigh 14 oz.
