Hang in Borger, Drenthe, the Netherlands

We stayed a week at a nice campground with the kids. Nice weather, beautiful terrain. My youngest sleeps in the tent, my wife in a dream-hammock, daughter in a diy and myself in a wb bb. Good times!bmm-20150813-0079.jpg

Nice photos, do you manage to hike far with the little one in the backpack/carrier? I have some friends that have a one year old that would love to go hiking but feel they could not manage to do it, perhaps you could be some inspiration for them!

I only got this carrier since last Tuesday so my experience is very limited. I did some short hikes with it, longest was about an hour and a half. My daughter is 7 and 1.5/2 hour walks are long enough. My boy is 16 months, weighs about 9 kg. With water and essentials I think I carried maybe 13/14 kg. Was very doable, most of the weight is on the hips. I really like the pack. It's a Deuter kid comfort II.

Beautiful location. Now just get him a little backpack and your good to go. He wears his while you wear him.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Nice pics. It is a Beautiful Country. I spent a Week in Nijmegen a few years ago doing the 100 mile March. Didn't get to Camp, but still had a great time.
