After picking up my first hammock, a used Hennessy Expedition Asym, for an upcoming camping trip in mid October I have been researching and buying all kinds of accessories and upgrades. I decided that I NEEDED a stand to setup in my back yard so that I could test all these rigging and tarp methods to find out what I like the most. My research lead me to this thread and in my typical "Building over the top" fashion I have a new stand and design that I can share with you all. This thing is a beast and I'm sure I'll have to get some wheels added soon!
All of the lumber is 2x6. I got a cedartone PT pine because it was on sale at my local Menards. I stretched the base to 120" and the uprights were cut at 90" so that I could try different suspension straps and use a longer (15") top blocking board to accommodate the main suspension eye bolts and the upper tarp ridge line eye bolts. I will get some dimensions of the distance that the eye bolts are above the ground and pictures later but here is a .PDF of the whole stand. I will also have individual drawings of each part to share after I make a few updates.

Most of the research and the design came from the friendly tips in this thread:
