I looked at the amok earlier but at about 6 5 and 275 it didn’t look like an option. How big can the xl handle. I foolishly fell for the Chinese hoax job and was very disappointed to find out what I had done. I’m still interested

The XL is good for your height. It’s good for up to like 6’8” or so, I think. Check out the web site for details.

After winning my Draumr 3.0 last year on Thanksgiving and having a busy year I was finally able to get a night out in my hammock. I absolutely loved it. Flat lay, I was warm when it got down to about 40 overnight, stayed dry in the drizzle throughout the evening, it was fantastic. I do find at 6'2" I'm a little tall for it, I had to bend my legs just a little bit to make sure my feet didn't hang off the end of the pad, but it was still really comfortable.

I think I'm already at the point where I may unload the Sierra Madre Designs system that I had, put the proceeds towards an XL, and keep the 3.0 for a backup/demo for others/for my wife should she want to come out with me for a night or two. Can't wait to get a closer look at the changes on the XL!

see, and as a stomach sleeping heathen, I love that I CAN hang my feet off the end of the mat!

no more hyperextended feet, and sore toes!

the XL definitely looks fantastic tho. I hassle Didrik and Jonas every chance I get to bring the XL features to the regular size in a 4.0

Oh I've watched your XL video about 5 times Shug, it's absolutely what convinced me to go for it come spring. Thanks for always being thorough with them!

I have to believe that the changes on the XL are coming to a 4.0, hopefully the boys at Amok will confirm at some point. Who knows, I could be wrong, but I think it only makes sense to make similar hammocks in a similar way for potential manufacturing cost savings?
