For $34 I bought this hammock not expecting much but it's a pretty nice little hammock after switching out the suspension and adding a ridgeline, good as is for car camping or the back yard....which is where I'll be sleeping tonight, suppose to be down to 60*.

+1. Used mine exclusively for three years of four season hanging, plus the only one during skeeter season for three more. Six years of a 6'2", 260lb dude plus a 60lb dog in the Skeeter Beeter Pro and still going strong!

Being 6' and of similar weight, the thing I like about the SBPro is the room.. I've tried shorter hammocks and can't get comfy.. I'm about to modify mine to have an interior ridgeline rather than use the elastics it came with, and I'm thinking about sewing another bag on the side for more storage when hanging.

I have a spare one waiting in the wings for when this one is starting to show age, but it sounds like it might be waiting a while??

You could take a look at the Woodsman X http://ukhammocks.co.uk/products/woo...ant=1055617964 or Woodsman XPEDITION http://ukhammocks.co.uk/collections/...ant=1031233356 from UKhammocks. I ordered the Woodsman X and am waiting for it. I heard nothing but good things about it.

I have the same one and bought it for only 11.22 Euros :-). Now it is more expensive I see. I got it from http://www.aliexpress.com/item/HOT-s...284257136.html (look at the third picture). I found it surpsingly good quality, but it was to short and way to narrow to be comfortable for me.

Roaming Gnome in 72" is my vote. I've owned and slept in both.

Actually, most gathered end camping hammocks on the market are asymetrical - the exceptions being the Switchbacks, Clarks and DD hammocks.
Hutzelbein - does that go for netless / half-netted hammocks such as Dutchware Bug Wits and netless too? My assumption is the Knotty Mods make them asymmetric, but they start symmetric... Is that right? (Sorry if this is obvious, BTW).
