    I think I have a problem...

So I have yet to spend a single night in my hammock (WB BBXLC w/ Superfly) and have already purchased Dutch gear for the tarp...new "Y" stakes...roll of Zing-It...mosquito netting for my DIY snakskins...a HG Incubator 20+1 and a HG Burrow 0...I sure hope I love hammock camping!!

I will get to try it out for the next three nights though...should be a fun weekend trying to get everything dialed in...

OK, just checking. A few of us were thinking of doing a one nighter Friday. Maybe next time.

You might want to hang a night in your backyard before your scouting trip. Give you a chance to sort how to set up your hammock so it hangs like you want. It took me several nights with the same gear to figure out what worked best for me. could be easier to do when you're alone than with a group of scouts you're watching. Good luck.

Pappy shoot me a PM when y'all do another...

Unfortunately we leave tomorrow so its going to be a learn as I go trip...I did set it up in the park and play around a bit...getting the feet high enough seemed to be the only issue but I will know more after a nights sleep...I slept on the ground for a week straight last month...cant be much worse than that...

Will do. If you need help working the kinks out after this trip, let me know. You can come down to CBSP and we'll go out where the crowds aren't and work on your setup.

    Completely agree with JSH.
Totally worth it to try things out in the back yard prior to your first trip. Even if it's just setting it up and taking it down a few times, you'll work out so many kinks and bumps by doing it.

    Have a great time!!

Send it all to me, I am here to "Help you with your problem...." and will thoroughly put it to a long term test for you to determine all the parameters for best lay options, optimal hang, multiple suspension options, best practices and weight limits... have a few gals lurking and awaiting the testing as well.
