    I think I didn't pull the half twist around the anchor tight enough before getting in... Causing the amsteel to cut itself. I will test it out tonight and see if that was the reason

    Can you still buy anodized anchors somewhere? If so where?

    I contacted him directly as a favor. You could buy the anchors from BIAS and anodize them yourself with household products pretty easily though.
