    Hammock difficulties

I have a ENO DN set up in spare bedroom and have been sleeping there for a little over a year, this year at Trail Days in Damascus me and my wife bought 2 HH Deep Jungles after several camping trips were noticing we are having a hard time getting out of them in the morning, we both just lay there in deep thought. Has anybody else had this problem and how have you handled it?

The only way to fix it is to find another person to camp with you that either has a tent or a stronger will. That way that person will get up in the morning, start the campfire, put water on to boil for coffee, and finally throw some bacon on to cook. Then the smell of bacon will draw you from your hammock and you won't be mad because they have coffee for you and a warm place to sit.

Ha, I know what you mean! Usually the coffee is the only thing to get me out my hammock.

    .... I might suggest:
    Take to bed with you...
1] one of the "S'well" super-thermal bottles [filled with scalding coffee the night before, it will still be very, very hot the next morning]
2] a bag of bacon jerky

Your decision to actually get out of the hammock could be postponed until the call of nature could no longer be ignored...

    haha 71b.

My wife and I have the same "problem" in our setups also. I typically get up at ~0500 on my own even on days off when around the home...but out on the trail we are both in the hammocks (or Amoks) till ~0900.

Our "problem" is now compounded since the Amok Draumr v3's arrived...now we have two bug-free reading rooms / camp-loungers and find ourselves taking siestas for no reason other than we have this problem , (

When I read this post I was all excited, then I read "...noticing we are having a hard time getting out of the in the morning..." Then I read the next sentence, I was so disappointed!
I have a T.Bird I just love, I can not bet out of it without help. My Hennessy's are difficult to get out of however, I am able to exit on my own. My T.Bird is impossible for me to exit without a lot of help. I thought I might find the answer in this post, ha, always read the whole comment before getting excited. Although the talk of bacon is interesting. LOL

Coffee. The only thing that gets me out of a hammock is cowboy coffee lol.
