    Dutch Ridgeline Biner

So I have made an ARL and want to use a dutch ridgeline biner to attach it... and probably use one to attach fixed SRL as well. I just can't figure out where exactly to attach the biner on my larksheaded CL. I have searched far and wide, and cannot seem to find an answer. How do you all attach it ? Is there a proper way?

An adjustable ridgeline is a whoopie sling. I larkshead the fixed loop onto one continuous loop, then connect the adjustable loop to the other continuous loop via the Dutch biner.

For a fixed ridgeline, do the same thing. Larkshead one end onto the continuous loop, then connect the other end of the ridgeline to the continuous loop via Dutch biner.

Yes same... Let me clarify: which part of the loop do I attach the biner to? Under the larkshead, on top on one strand, on top of both?

These are the ways I can think of... Are one of these right? Or is there a proper way I haven't thought of?

I don't get it. The larkshead is on one end; the Dutch biner is on the other end. A loop is a loop - clip the loop onto the ridgeline biner - done.

So it doesn't matter how I clip the biner on the loop.. Ease of removal, pulling on the wrong part of the loop etc... Maybe my pictures explain

Don't take this wrong, but Ya'll are complicating this easy step.

Each side of the SRL has a "loop", either a fixed eye, whoopiesling end, hardware, etc. The CL, continuous loop, part that is already attached to the hammock slips thru the loop eye of the SRL you are attaching. No larkshead required, no special knots, hitches or extra hardware needed.

Just hold the SRL eye in one hand, the CL in the other. Take the CL and slide thru the eye. Done. If you have straps permanently attached, send the strap thru the eye. Done.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I guess pic 2 looks like what I do. I've never taken my Dutch biner off, so I guess ease of removal isn't something I think about.

Ok thanks. Sorry for the confusion. Just couldn't figure out if there was some proper way for the straightest line or something and I was gonna mess up the loop if I didn't do it that way.
