I visited the factory where they weave, Dye, and then Impregnate Xenon. It is done with pressure in a bath of silicone. Definitely not rolled on although it then goes over some very big rollers that I guess even it out. It is really neat by the way. I love my job by the way.
    Thanks Dutch.
    Exactly what I expected ...
If it ain't Dutch it ain't much

I have first hand experience with this stuff a it's everything Dutch says and more! Sews nice, not a huge amount of stretch, and there's no problem seam sealing. I used Permatex Flowable Silicone and it worked great!

Any more field tests? I'm concerned about real world waterproofing. Do you have independent tests to verify the average HH?

When using this to make a tarp, do I still need cat cuts? Or is it stiff enough to leave them out?

    Cheers

I used very shallow cat cuts and it worked fine. There is a little stretch, so you probably should use cats.

Looks like a very promising fabric!

Dutch, any plans to send in a sample and get it micrographed and tested for hydrostatic head by Richard Nisley over at BPL? I see that Kyle from RSBTR has been sending in some of his fabrics for testing.
