I have some 3/8 grosgrain and I was thinking about using as tarp tie out points. I would double the grosgrain in the loop but keep it one layer where it is sewn into the reinforcement patches. Strong enough?

Should be way more than strong enough. We use a single layer of 1/2" all the time.

I think this stuff is incredibly strong. Now that I think about it, I don't recall seeing any instance where someone reported that the grosgrain itself failed. I'm sure there are some, but I don't recall one.

I've used it before for tarp tie outs----------worked fine! (not sure if it stretches much---that might be an issue)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
