Been seeing ridgeline questions come up a lot lately on here and You Tube so though I'd re-visit it since it is buried in my How-Tos somewhere.
This is GreenBean's last video.

Thank you. Covers the basics on the ridge line and why you may need one.

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

Great video Shug, sure was sad seeing green bean rip when you got out...
Green bean getting injured hurt us all.
Great video, I must say. Green Bean held up even after the rip. A real trooper.
Also, thanks for sharing in the final cut of the video on what can happen if the hammock is too tight. That is some very high stresses involved to snap the ripstop material like that.
Folks, learn from Shug, of the broken hearted third person, to keep the hammock loose. About 30 degrees on the suspension and a ridgeline helps to keep the sweet spot each and every time.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
The injury is a game ender I am afraid. Could patch but would always be weary. GreenBeans last words were to "go on Shug, go on but promise to clone me"
Ol' GreenBean was never one to run away when injured. He saw the video through. Then quivered and gasped. I held his whipping as he went limp.
That sounded weird!
