Looking to get out for a weekend anyone know of any good places around Muskegon michigan or sourounding areas ?

Nordhouse dunes

Not sure if your car camping, or backpacking, but my favorite place to get away for a day or two hike is to jump on the North Country Trail at 40th Street (north of Newaygo). Plenty of great places to hang.

I've thought of Nordhouse dunes but the north country trail is closer and something different.
