MS-Central: Dag nabbit, it's that time again.

I know there is a plan in the works for Homochitto again, but I can't wait that long. Anyone up for a hang in the next anytime between here and September?

Brother I feel ya but it's too hot. I'm doing all my hammock hanging these days indoors.

Definitely working on the 2nd Annual Mississippi Hangers Association Hommochitto Hang. Post coming soon about the dates and upgraded venue.

Shooting at November again like last year but I'm interested and eager to get everyone's opinions on date options if they want to weigh in.

I guess working in the heat has me acclimated. Just woke up in mine out here in the yard, about to head to the daily grind. I'm definitely looking forward to November though. Upgraded venue, upgraded menu.

bringerofgame - of you don't have any takers, you could always take a road trip and drive up to Tishomingo State Park. They have some good trees in their regular campground and some nice hiking. I would definitely be up to meeting you up this way but can't do a long trip right now.

As hot as it's been, I've still had the "itch" to spin a night out in the woods pretty soon.

If ya'll do do a hang in Tishomingo please post something. I love Tishomingo and not to far of a drive. Haven't met another hanger yet and would love to get some new ideas.

I'd be interested in a Tishomingo hang. I'll watch here for any updates

Ok, so that makes three people interested in a Tishomingo hang! Maybe I will start a new thread so we are not hijacking this one?

We can always hit Rocky Springs on the Natchez Trace one weekend... I'm only 40 miles from there...

That sounds pretty good. I could pull off a Saturday night without much planning at all. I'm about the same distance as you are. Just let me know what weekend works for you.
