That is a wicked good idea. Thank you for sharing that video.

To the best of my knowledge, the cord locks that ENO has on their products and the cord locks that Dutch has (Gunner put a picture of them up once, not sure where it is now) are practically the same.

The next closest thing I could find (which may actually be them) is http://alpinescience.com/gear/litetr...t-mini-4-pack/

You just pinch it together, run the cord through, and ta-daaaa. Cord lock.

I tried to do a search and it came up with exactly what I just posted...and the "buy" link goes exactly to the same place...which is definitely not cord locks.

Sure- they're available on Eno's site for $79.95, and come with a free stuff sack! I agree, they are super simple and effective.

An idea I got from this site (sorry- no author cited) to use paracord whipping as a hardware-free cordlock on my stuff sacks. Very light and effective on a "two cord" setup. I suppose by playing with the size of the paracord used, it would work as a stopper on a Knotty Mod single shock cord.

I guess the key is to have a small exit hole for the cord. Fun stuff.
