    Webbing and CCF source?

I'm putting together my order for the supplies I'll need for the pack I'm making. Im having a hard time finding a source for the following:

    1/4" closed cell foam
    1/8" closed cell foam
    3/4" webbing
    1 1/2" webbing

Any suggestions? I e already checked RSBTR, DIY Gear Supply, Thru Hiker, and Dutch. AHE has the 1.5" webbing and really expensive foam, but I'm hoping to find one source for all 4 and more reasonable foam prices.

Quest Outfitter's has some of that, although their prices tend to be higher, so I only order from them when I can't find it anywhere else.

    For webbing try Strapworks.

Gossamer gear sells foam pads in 1/4" and 1/8" thickness.

Could also try McMaster-Carr for foam.

Thanks for the suggestions! McMaster-Carr has literally thousands of foam products it appears. Any suggestions which one I should focus on?

Quest has 3/8" CCF only, which could probably work. It's a little heavier than I wanted for the padded pocket I'm making, and a little lighter than I wanted for shoulder straps and belt, but I think it could work. And since I could order just the amount I need, it works out to be a lot cheaper than, say, GG where I have to order a large piece of each size.

+1 on Strapworks for webbing. They made me several sets of tree straps with sewn loops on the end. They have also made me motorcycle tie-downs with loops. If it is for hanging remember to get the low stretch variety.

I've used these guys for webbing, and have been pretty happy. Be careful to scroll through their pricing, sometimes a longer roll of webbing ends up being cheaper than a short roll. Not sure how they come up with it, but sometimes you get a great deal on a 25 yard roll versus a 10 yard roll.

Just to clarify: 3/8" is thicker than 1/8" and 1/4" (2/8").

FWIW make sure the presser foot of you sewing machine will go high enough to accept the foam + other material's you are using (especially if using spacer mesh for part of your straps and hip belt).

Woops, total brain fart. I was thinking of 3/16". Back to the drawing board. I don't want to go that thick.

After looking at the McMaster-Carr site, I would look at the polyethylene closed cell foams (soft and firm firmness (7-9psi for 25% deflection)), but I haven't used them before, so use your judgement.

Do y'all think 1/4" foam would be sufficient for shoulder straps and waist belt?
