Just wondering what everyone uses as guy lines? I just got a Kelty Noah's Tarp 12' , and I have a CRL using a figure 9. Wanting to buy/make guy lines for it. Thanks!

IMO go to Dutchwaregear.com and pick up some Lawson glow wire.
Lots of good options and even more bad ones out there. For hanging a tarp you want a line that does not stretch. That means any nylon based ropes are out such as Paracord. Many of us use Lash it or zing it in one of the 2 sizes it comes in. But there are a number of good cords. Any of us vendors that participate here on HF will have the good stuff.
Here is an article on common hammock cords and ropes with their uses as they apply to hammock camping that I wrote a few months ago. http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/w...e-dope-on-rope
It should help with whats what.

Something with a spectra or dyneema core. Lash-it, zing-it, z-line, etc are popular. I like z-line because it's not reflective, but highly visible if you come up on it at night. Also takes knots well. Lash-it or zing-it would be my 2nd choice.
Like Paul said, not nylon...so nite ize, msr, 550 cord and other commonly available cord will stretch and cause problems.
I used the Lawson glow wire in black, didn't want one of the bright colors. I wasn't sure how it was going to look at night but it is amazing when a light hits it, looks like it is lit up.
Lawson glow wire, shock cord loop on tarp end and MSR groundhawgs. Bowline knot between glow wire and shock cord, wrap around stake and back through bowline knot to tighten and half hitch to make tear down fast. Dutch has some great tarp cordage and bling worth checking out. I've kept it simple, light and fast.
I use Glowwire for guylines in 7ft lengths (this stuff, but it is out of stock: https://diygearsupply.com/product/reflective-glowire/). I wish it would somehow be required for everyone. i have tripped over many-a-guyline including my own.
I think I'm going to order 4 or 6 tarpworms from dutch, one end shockcord to tarp, other end glowire to stake
