I just placed an order for a bear burrito oven cover for a WBBB. Does anyone have any user experience or advice for it ?

Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.

Subscribed, I'm interested as well.
I don't have my WBBB any more, but I used an AHE BBO with it a couple of times. Very nice way to kill the breeze and bump the interior temp a bit. I had a problem with all gathered end hammocks and could never fall asleep in them so I have not spent an entire night with the combination.
The BBO was very well made and easy enough to put on. I would buy one again if I had a WBBB.
Got one for my wife's BB. Got it same color as hammock which I think was a mistake as it makes it hard to tell where it starts and ends in relation to the hammock. Found it very easy to put on as I did it one time in the dark with out a flashlight. Wife reports it works very nicely for her.Does anyone have any user experience or advice for it ?
If wind is a major factor where you hang then a Sock might be a better way to go as it will block the wind from all parts of the hammock.
Would be interesting to see how well a BBO and a Sock work together under very cold conditions.

I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I use a BBO with my WBBB almost all the time. It fits loosely, blocks the breezes, and keeps the Yeti UQ and the BB clean. It also adds some heat retention.
It works like a charm! Simple & effective.

I have been looking at these for my wife's bb and would be very interested in your thoughts about it after you have a chance to test it out abit.
Paul at AHE does nice work and i'm sure the quality will be fine, just not sure if it's a good deal or not.
Keep us posted..
I wonder what the ETA on the updated version for the 2014 WBBB is?

The comment above about the wind is a good one. Does anyone know if this will parachute up in high wind or does it stay in place due to the 4 attachment points? Any ever try this vs a Sock? I'm not even sure who makes Socks these days.

I bought a BBO and UQP from a hammock forum member late last year. I have used the BBO on a few colder nights and I thought it did a great job of increasing temps inside my WBBB and blocking wind. It is very well made and fits tight against the hammock without any billowing up. I also used the underquilt protector and thought it helped in extremely wet windy conditions but have not used it enough in colder weather to have an opinion.
I say buy the BBO. If if does not work for your needs, another foreum member will snap it up in no time when you sell it.
