Need a good hammock tutorial...

Hi, I bought a hammock at one place and a lightweight suspension package at another place and now I just need a good tutorial that will show me how to put it all together. The Hammock Suspension Package consists of 1 Set of 6ft Whoopie Slings, 1 set of 6ft Tree Huggers & 1 Structural Ridge Line & toggles. My problem is being the newb I am I'm now looking at all these parts with no idea what to do with them, and unfortunately I dont even know what these things are/ just copy and pasted from the product description for the order I placed. The place I bought the suspension package from referred me to this forum.

It didn't come with any stuff to hang it except 2 heavy steel hooks which I'm not going to use because light weight for backpacking is what I'm going for. If anyone could maybe suggest a good YouTube video or provide a link to some kind of illustration I would greatly appreciate it.

Do a search on YT for Shug's Hammock videos. Everything you need to get up and running.

As MR3T mentioned, look for the newbie video series by shugemery on YouTube. You can also check out the book "The Ultimate Hang" by Derek Hansen.

Wow, yup I got everything I needed from shugemery on YouTube in the first video in his series: "Hammock Hangin' how to essentials for noobs part 1". There's obviously a lot more I could learn about it but now at least I know what I have and more importantly how to use it. Thanks for the help all who replied~

Question: The item description on Amazon says that it comes with steel S hooks, but pictured are wire clasp carabiners. Which was correct?
