accrete, didn't realize the fence pole was swagged at one end. Sweet. Now you have me thinking that I can use the same thing as a ridgepole hanging from some ceiling straps instead of going from wall-to-wall if I want an indoor hang.

I think you are spot on. That way the 1/2 pole(s) can simply tuck away up against a wall/etc. between hangs if desired.
That is exactly what i'm going to put up in our 43 foot toy hauler's 12 foot rear garage area. We use it primarily as our entrance & mud room... But it has a nice area free and clear to hang our two ENOs from some already-built framing. We will just hang from the upper frame on two top-rails and can hang indoors when we need a fix.

PS. just noticed your location states "Woodland, CA"... my dad was a prof. @ U.C. Davis for many years. Used to go up Pole Line road from our place to Woodland nearly every week to do some shopping in the ( : big city : )

Very nice,,,,, what do you figure materials co$t was, minus camo tape?
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.
When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

Very elegant accrete, love the camo tape job. Thanks for the instructions and item list. Very well done. Is there an issue with the eye bolts that you needed them six inches long? Not a critique, just curious.

Greetings, thanks and also a great question. When reading through Banana Hammocks list( he is the creator of this one...but his last post was back in 2014 , ( I wondered the same thing about the length of the 1/2" eyebolts...only to find that at my local home depot 6" was the shortest length they had for 1/2". From putting the stands together I see no reason to go anything beyond the nut that you've tapped inside. The only wiggle I get is from the bolt inside the nut rather than nut in conduit. And the wiggle is just the usual movement that any course threaded bolt/nut combo would give when there is no tension or it is not tightened down to the nut. BUT once there is any load on the eyebolts all bolt wiggle is gone even if bolt has an inch or two above the nut showing.

To prevent the legs from cutting through the rubber leg tips, place a washer the same diameter as the legs in the tips and then insert the legs.

Does the 3/4 inch EMT conduit seem like a good choice for the tripod legs? Are you getting any bend or shaking in the one tripod that is holding the weight of both hammocks?
Just to do a silly test, as I pondered the same... I moved the two prusik knots to the middle of one of the 1/2 ridge poles and Cari and I carefully hung by it with knees off the ground. So ~300 lbs off the two braids from the single anchor onto 1-3/8" rail. There was no indication of bending or wobble. YMMV.
Post Edit.... what I meant by "hung by it with knees off the ground." . . Is that we were kneeling side by side on the lawn with hands holding the ridgepole and carefully did sort of a chin up action until we were balancing with basically only the front-top of shoes touching the ground. So I suppose there was very close to our combined weight of 300 pounds on the center tripod.
