Was hopin' to make it for a couple hours to meet everybody, but alas can't work it into the schedule. Family obligations must take priority. Maybe I can make the next one. Hope you guys have a great time. Looks like it will be great weather.
I got down to Yates Place this afternoon and am VERY glad I did! If anyone else has been reading but not done any of this yet, it will REALLY help to go to a hang . Wonderful people! I had food in my hand within 5 minutes of arriving!! Thanks!!
Special thanks and a "hi" to Tallpaul , Hiknhanger, and a few others ( remember a few first names but not screen names ). I got to lay in 4 different hammocks; and I think I got pictures ( modern phones are great!) of just about every hammock there. I even learned a few new tricks for my iphone!! 1st - go to compass (in utilities) and slide it left- you have a level! 2nd- I was shown how to make a folder to store apps! Thanks for the tips!
As just said, I was in 4 hammocks. I had one " oh my goodness" moment. I really could sleep in that one! So I just spent an hour on wilderness logic website....
I took lots of pictures, AND notes. I made an email for notes ( I couldn't get the pictures to go into "notes"). So I took a picture, went to email, typed notes about what I just saw, then inserted picture showing it. I know better than to trust my memory.
Y'all may see freezing tonight. Hope you all get through it OK .

We did have a cold night, but I at least managed to stay warm. I had to leave before most folks started waking, so I didn't hear how others did. I sure hated to get out of my sleeping bag!
