Saturday was to be the first night. I don't think I'm going to make it. I've had some things come up that will prevent me from making it. I was really looking forward to this trip.
I really wanted to make this one, too, but I can't get down until Friday around dark and I'd need to be back in St Louis early Sunday afternoon. I wanted to make the Irish Wilderness hang as well but have prior commitments.
I've got a block of free time from November 20th to the 29th. Anyone interested in putting in a week or so on the Ozark Trail in Missouri? I wanted to thru hike the whole thing in January but I think I'm going to split it up into half in November and half in January.
Well let's take a "recount" on this since the thread originator won't be able to make it. If you're still absolutely going, please chime in so we get a good head count.
I'm going but I'm planning oni being there Saturday and hiking out on Sunday.
Who else?

Okay, I guess I'll call this one dead in the water. Sometimes it's just fate; wife wants me to pick her up in St. Louis on Saturday
Let's try to do this sometime this fall. I've never hiked this area and it's on my short area so I'm going to do it before the snow flies. If anyone feels like putting a new date out there that's solid, let me know.

I hiked all the good trails on the west side of GOG Monday and all the water is dried up but for some stagnant spots and the temperature is going to be hot and really humid. Might be better to try in mid to late October
Posting new hang for weekend of October 10th
