    Suspension: Purchase List?

I think I want to go the cinch buckle route (possibly rings) but I'm unsure as to what I need to purchase and from where.

From what I've gathered so far, I will need the following

10'-15' of 1" webbing (polypro or polyester, which is better?)
    Two cinch buckles or rings

I would prefer to have the loops already sewn in and I don't mind spending more to get quality.

    Any suggestions?

    You pretty much got it.

Polyester straps from strap works (They can do the loops for you also)

    Cinch buckles from OnRope1

    Or Rings from SlingRings

Strap material options consist of the following,

    Nylon
    Polyester
    Polypropylene

What type of pros/cons do they each have?

In regard to the rings, what size diameter would be needed for 1" webbing?

You want 1.5" ID rings with 1" webbing. I would also point you towards seatbelt polyester if saving weight is a concern. The StrapWorks 1" SeatBelt polyester has been used extensively, and they even have a pre-sewn option called the Simple Sling.

'Tis a shame strapworks doesn't carry the appropriate suspension hardware, too.

It bugs me no end to place multiple orders for relatively small amounts, and end up paying s&h each time.

maybe warbonnet guy will sell you a couple of his new buckles and some webbing. Of course you will still need a pair of dutch clips.
