VIDEO: Ultra Light Sit Pad...On The Trail

Over the course of the past year or so I have come to love my Dutchware Gear ultra light sit pad. At just over a half of an ounce, even the gram counter in me loves it! I keep it stored in the back mesh compartment of my packs and easily pull it out EVERY time I take a break and sit down. This truly makes my breaks (and breaks are my favorite part of backpacking trips) more enjoyable.

    Thanks for watching.

    Rob

I just received one in my first order from Dutchware and it looks great how light it is and how it folds up. How have you found the durability of the pad?

I own one in black and one in blue. I take both of them with me on backpacking trips, one for my feet and one in case I get a cold spot during the night. I keep one accessible on the outside of the pack, and one packed inside when on the trail.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.

I have a couple of generic sit pads, a couple thermarest z fold sit pads (both styles are bulky when folded) and a couple of the klymit blow up sit pad / pillows (pack small but definitely overkill), was planing on placing an order with Dutch and tossed a couple of Dutch sit pads into the order. I think the thin folded size and no fuss use is going to be what makes this one work for me.

Great video and I also love the sit pad. The most amazing thing is that it has dutch technology applied to it. The way it folds stops stress of the crease while making the pad fold and store very easily. It may be the best comfort/weight/cost ratio of any item on my gear list. One can use other products and cut up CCF pads but won't get the easy of use vs. comfort that this Dutch Pad provides. Got to buy it to beleive it!

So far so good, nothing tearing or compressing to much.

Can you figure out a way to get the view at 32 seconds without having to climb?
