No debate here! I agree with your facts. But it's simply Taylor ham up this way, just as the map states! I just can't believe that most outside of New Jersey don't know what it is!

Sorry, but it's Pork Roll, NOT Taylor Ham. To quote the Trentonian:

"There is no debate on this. It’s pork roll. Taylor is a brand, much like Case, and they are the two major pork roll producers. Calling pork roll “Taylor ham” is akin to calling all tissues “Kleenex.” It’s simply not correct. The end."

Just another fact: Taylor themselves call it "Pork Roll" (especially after it didn't meet the USDA's definition of "Ham")
