uh. this just got my mind wandering.....

So another person posted something about a beverage holder. and being that i have a.d.d. pretty badly, i immediately set out on a google search for it, instead of waiting for the response. I stumbled across this little gem, and it got me thinking about how...... oh look, a squrriel..... i'm sorry, where was i? oh. right. about how i can adapt it to fit the hammock(s) i already have.

i wouldn't be that hard to sew a piece of hook and loop to each side of the hammock. the hardest part would be making the third attachment point to keep it from rolling.

Beverage Holder probably refers to the Coozy-like attachment. I've seen them but I can't remember where. It's basically a beer holder on a mitten hook.

Funny. I'd have to order a couple of Dutch pee bags if I had one of those.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same

Oh, I've got a bigger pocket on the other side for holding stuff like that! Its big enough to stuff my medium size pillow into if needed, but ends up holding misc stuff. Note that I have a Streamliner with cat cut sides of the rectangle, the effect being that the sides become rigid when you're in the hammock.

REI sells what the call swag pockets. Basically it's a mesh tube a little bigger than a beer can that hangs from a mitten hook. In my hammock I hang one from the ridgeline. Check it out: http://www.rei.com/product/681993/re...g-pockets-pair

They're a LOT bigger than a beer can. 5" in diameter and 8" long.
Love 'em. I have one in the car, one by the couch as a trash (clean trash, of course) containers, and two for camping. I believe you get two for $10.

I had $20 for my annual refund.

Yep, they're for tents, but the work well on a hammock ridgeline, too. Big enough for a full size Nalgene bottle (or plastic Gatorage/Powerade bottle).

I use a double sided RL organizer with a pocket in the center big enough for a smart water bottle.. That's all I need. and with it being horizontal, it prevents anyone from trying to store an open beer or soda can in it.
