Is there anyone in the Nashville, TN area that would be willing to meet up with me? I need to run some ideas by someone that's more experienced in DIY Hammocks. I am a complete noob at this stuff and specifically need help with a Under Quilt idea. Thanks!

HA! I told my wife "I probably just sent out an invitation for someone to murder me." I am not crazy...weird, but not crazy. I just moved to Thompsons Station but can meet at one of the many coffee shops in Nashville. I won't keep you long. Just let me know when works for you to meet up! I'm with the Scouts this weekend, but my wife owes me a solo campout for Father's Day. We could totally do a MTHUG. What is an MTHUG, by the way?

Why don't we do lunch on a Saturday sometime. Pick a neutral location and meet at a nice place. Heck, bring your significant others too.

Haha. I'm my geekness is showing. User Groups are pretty common among the geek crowd, a Middle Tennessee Hammock User Group was what I was thinking. If there's not already a Tennessee hammock user group we can just go by THUG. It's a hard life being a THUG.

Also happy to help. I've made two modified-KARO UQs.

Nashville Backpacker Meetup group has many hammockers in it and meets monthly, plus does several hikes a month.
